All packed and waiting for the mini break tomorrow. I made
some star shaped Ischler, The Emperor of Cookies for my little niece and nephew
whom we are visiting. Of course a diabetic version with whole grain flour and
birch sugar and the thinnest layer of apricot jam I could spread in between two
layers. We are going to share them all and it is better to look after everybody’s
blood sugar level.
I tried to do some sewing today, but there are days when
this kind of activity just does not want to happen so I decided to knit at the
end.
