Day 508-509 The Friday Night Knitting Club… in New York

Something very strange happened to me on Thursday, as we were trying to find presents for my little niece and nephew with mum. As we entered Tesco’s book isle my eye got caught on a book’s title, which instantly made me laugh.
The next day I shared the story with the Knitting Club ladies chaperoned by great giggles: The Friday Night Knitting Club (Kate Jacobs) is a story set in a New York City yarn shop where women come together every Friday evening to knit, share jokes and their deepest secrets.
For a few months now every Friday evening we come together in my living room, drink tea, eat cakes, knit and laugh. It is an amazing way of sharing sisterhood.
The only fix date in my diary is the Friday evening Knitting Club, everything else comes after this. Being on a creative break is like eating a big chocolate cake with clotted cream, which seems to last forever! Yesterday, I started to make the London bus cushions for the kids and spent 8 straight hours on the sewing machine.
The Garden looks like the entrance to Narnia with the lamp covered with thick snow. And I remember of Aslan as it is Sunday.
