Day 604 An Incredible Challenge – Charlotte Flowers

A great day with plenty cooking, a decision on the wedding cake (blue and white) and starting on a bridesmaid toile. Tomorrow is going to be all about sewing, so it is time to rest and reenergise.
I just thought I share this: Charlotte Flowers is doing an incredible challenge in England living on less than £1 a day to raise money towards Tearfund’s work fighting extreme poverty. https://www.livebelowtheline.com/me/charlotteflowers Well Done Charlotte! I am very proud of you!
I found this website whilst browsing on Charlotte’s Facebook page: http://visual.ly/if-world-were-100-people There are some straight forward charts explaining how world poverty, education etc. would be distributed if only 100 people would live on the Earth. 48 of them would live under less than $2 USD/day. This is something to think about: where would I be? I remember the long months during Mission Year when I had an extremely tight budget. I am so grateful for that time, I’ve learnt a lot and it makes me appreciate so much what Charlotte is doing out of her free will, to help those who haven’t got.
