Day 24 – 28 Vienna, Pozsony/Bratislava, London, Portsmouth, London, Budapest

I had no internet during my travels, but wrote some notes on my phone for the blog, so here it comes:

2.30am leaving for Vienna. I slept 10 minutes before I had to wake up to get ready. It reminded me those days when I flew home with the earliest flight possible and left London around midnight.

I slept most of the time having at least two seats for myself during the whole train journey. Vienna amazed me! It is clean, quit and a reminder of Hungary. I felt like home. Traditional Viennese food, tram, the Bat at the Film Festival Vienna 2011, `Kaiserschmarren` with plum jam, spaces rooms with high ceilings, long chat with Katharina about life and what`s next.

Schonbrunn captured me. Both the palace and the park are fantastic.

I arrived to London from Pozsony (it is called Bratislava since we lost 2/3 of our country during the world wars of the last century). The most relaxed airport I have ever seen.

Friday morning Anna cooked traditional American Courgette frittelle for breakfast at Gemma`s and I soon set off to take part at the wedding of the most glamorous vicar of England: Rev. Joanna Jepson, who by about 4pm became Mrs. Biddle. This was the first English wedding I was invited too. I did not put the fascinator on my head, but on my bag. I tried it on at the hotel, but felt like I was carrying an extra head. We don’t really use things like that in Hungary.

There is so much more I would love to write about, but maybe other time. I had a day off today to rest after this very hectic Grand Tour of mine.
